So how does a ship week work?It's super simple. Every day of the ship week has a prompt with a theme or idea attached to it meant to celebrate Devil's Minion. This go round, we are centering our theme around AUs (Alternate Universes) and concepts found in the books to expand further on. Simply create what inspires you from that day. When that day rolls around, you will post your creation with the hashtag #DMWEEK and tag our social media for reposting.If you are a writer, you will submit your work to our AO3 collection on the day that it is due. We will post your work with a link and screenshot of your AO3 tags. You should also post your own work with the hashtag so that we may repost it and boost!Our previous collections include: 2025 and 2026.

Our ship week will take place from November 30th to December 7th, nestled between holidays! See below for a full timeline and theme guide. Each day will come with both safe for work and not safe for work prompts. You can combine them, or explore them solo, it's completely up to your inspiration! Due to the amount of editors involved in previous events, we have also included some inspiration prompts or songs. Feel free to use these in fics or art as well. Have fun!

❯❯ WHAT ARE THE RULES AROUND HERE?

  • Work should be in English or have an English translation. AI generated work is not allowed.

  • All content is accepted, yes, including dead dove. We only ask that you properly tag your dove. Improperly tagged work will not be accepted into the collection.

  • If posting art and edits, please tag us and use the hashtag #DMWEEK so that we can see your work.

  • Work should be solely centered on the relationship between Daniel Molloy and The Vampire Armand. While mentions of their past relationships are completely acceptable, OT3s are not.

  • Both show and book based interpretations are allowed.

  • When posting your work, especially on AO3, please put some indication of what day your work is for in the description so we can correctly sort it when posted.

  • What if nothing inspires me from the day? You are not obligated to create for every single day. If one day doesn't inspire you, pick from the other six! Or you may create absolutely anything in regards to Devil's Minion for our free day on the very last day of the ship week. Here, any work is accepted. The free day encompasses all topics and themes not focused on within the week, as well as making room for OT3s/Polyamorous relationships involving Daniel and Armand. (For example: DanLouMand)

  • Can I create X kind of work? Yes! We accept all creative work. This can include cosplay, your personal designs or even poetry.

  • Can I post about my WIP? Absolutely! Feel free to tag us so we can boost you too. Have fun with it.

  • Does my work need to be completed for posting? While it is preferred, it is not an obligation to have your writing finished. If you are posting a long fanfic, it's completely fine to only post what you have already finished. Just ensure that your WIP is marked as such on AO3. All art, however, will need to be completed. What completion looks like is up to you! If you'd like to share uncompleted work, like sketches you won't finish, please do so on the free day.

  • Can I collaborate with another creator? Absolutely, we encourage collaboration.

  • Why didn't you repost or share my work? This usually means, for some reason or another, we have not seen it. If you have tagged us, used the hashtag, and still have not received a repost, please DM us so that we can fix that immediately.

  • I don't think I'll finish my work. Can I post late? Yes you may! The mods will look out for late work up to a week after the event is over. If you need more time, however, be sure to reach out to us directly so that we don't miss it.
